About Us

The Leadership college

History

TLC provides a free, holistic
education to learners from
impoverished Manenberg and the
surroundings. TLC offers daily
sandwiches, writing and text books
to its leaders.
As a registered school in South
Africa, TLC follows the South
African Curriculum Assessment
Policy Statement (CAPS). In
Addition to CAPS, TLC had
developed a unique extra curricular
program to prepare each leader for a
lifetime of leadership. Our extended
school day, weekend classes and
school holiday programs enables
TLC to embed an ethics program
grounded in the schools core value
system.

TLC is a faith based institution
underpinned by Islamic values, we
have learners attending the school
from various faiths. TLC encourages
the learners to join the interfaith
program in an effort to create more
awareness through learning other
cultures, traditions and beliefs.
TLC is a member of the Cape Town
Interfaith initiative which deals
with our leaders being exposed
to various religions such as
Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism,
Budasim, African Culture and many
more

At TLC Academy, we don’t just teach subjects – we steward an enduring tradition of comprehensive excellence that has shaped world-changers for half a millennium.
